With the push of the goverments, the 40W and 60W incandescent bulbs are banned in many countries. As the 3rd generation lighting, the LED bulbs is going to be the major players to replace those lamps. However, due to the loss of international regulations and standards, the quality and performance are quite different. Who will be the winners in the competion? I think the ones who can lead the market and make the standards, like the Energy Star requirements.
